STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT – Customer Service

PBI – Printing By Innovation Inc. is committed to providing accessible and equitable customer service to each and every one of our diverse and valued customers. This practice has been prepared to ensure a consistent consumer experience is provided at PBI in accordance with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (“AODA”) and the Ontario Regulation 429/07 (Accessibility Standards for Customer Service). We respect the dignity, independence, integration and equality of our customers and are committed to ensuring that the PBI experience is integrated and accessible to all people with disabilities. PBI has established an Accessibility Policy in accordance with the AODA and has trained all employees regarding all aspects of accessible customer service.

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT – Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation

PBI is committed to achieving accessibility through development, implementation, training and maintenance of policies that meet the IASR (Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation) (Regulation 191/11). The IASR establishes standards to address barriers that persons with disabilities face in the areas of information and communication, employment, transportation and public space design. PBI is committed to providing accessible standards as well as committed to achieving and inclusive culture across the organization by preventing and removing barriers for persons with disabilities. Where it is not possible to remove barriers, PBI will make efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities in a timely, effective and suitable manner. PBI has established a multi-year accessibility plan which outlines the specific measures taken by the company to achieve compliance with the requirements under the AODA and its regulations. PBI has measures in place to prepare individualized workplace emergency response information for employees with disabilities.

PBI’s goal is to meet and surpass expectations, including those of customers with disabilities. Comments on how well those expectations are being met are welcome and appreciated and can be completed by completing a Customer Feedback form.
